This is the first Colombian project to have global features.
Realizing the potential of the corridor of El Dorado Avenue for the development of the city and the metropolitan region, The Luis Carlos Sarmiento Angulo Organization planned this mega project in order to become the business heart of the 21st century city.
The CIUDAD EMPRESARIAL Sarmiento Angulo is the biggest nonresidential building project in the city’s history. It has an investment of approximately 2.2 billion pesos and it is Colombia’s first project to join global characteristics.
Eighteen corporate towers, a Grand Hyatt Hotel, and an Arts Performing Center arranged around an urban and trade walk with a length of 500 meters. It is also equipped with facilities and services that create an ideal business environment for the best companies in the world.
The complex is located in three super blocks. It is compound by Towers of ten floors each; the first floors are assigned to offices and trade. The Towers are situated on a large platform of open spaces, which serves for movement and setting to the first floors, destined to restaurants, cafes, services and trade.
Four towers are already built and inhabited, where the headquarters of big enterprises like Avianca, Argos and the Cámara Colombiana de la Infractructura (Colombian Chamber of Infrastructrue) take place. Two other towers are being built. One of them, Tower 8, will be named Colciencias as this governmental entity will operate in 5 floors of it’s floors.
